With the government of Tamil Nadu lifting the lockdown imposed by the COVID-19 outbreak and permitting filming to restart, Chiyaan Vikram's forthcoming project with director Karthik Subbaraj is set to begin shooting in July. The project, tentatively titled 'Chiyaan60,' honors Vikram's 60th film and also stars his son Dhruv Vikram. Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram are starring in the film, which is produced by Seven Screen Studio. Director Karthik Subbaraj said in a recent interview that 50 percent of the film's shooting has been done and that he plans to restart filming once the lockdown restrictions in Tamil Nadu are lifted. The scenes with Vani Bhojan and Vikram are scheduled to be shot soon.
